Who are we looking for?
We are currently looking for an experienced Payload CMS Developer with strong knowledge of React.js and Next.js to join the Autentika team. If you are an independent specialist who knows design patterns and programming best practices, and you have no trouble planning the scope of work and the time required to complete it — read on :) We are looking for people who thrive in a team environment — we work remotely day-to-day with a high degree of trust, so we value strong communication skills highly.
Your responsibilities:
- Working as part of a team to build complex applications based on Payload CMS and React/Next.js, including optimisation for speed and scalability
- Code Review
- Collaborating with UX designers, UI designers, and backend developers
- Actively contributing to the architectural decisions of deployed applications
- Supporting colleagues when they need your technical expertise
- Identifying emerging frontend trends that can be applied in day-to-day work
- Education and knowledge sharing around programming best practices
Our requirements:
- Proven experience working with Payload CMS (customising the admin panel, creating custom collections, hooks, API integrations, etc.).
- A professional approach to building frontend applications — a focus on code quality, performance, and architecture
- Strong knowledge of Next.js — including applications using SSR and SSG
- Experience building PWA/SPA applications using REST and GraphQL APIs
- Familiarity with NX or Turborepo — experience working with monorepos and organising larger projects
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
- Experience writing automated tests — unit, integration, and E2E (e.g. Cypress, Playwright, Jest)
- Experience working with Storybook — creating and documenting components
- A creative approach to problem-solving and a genuine desire to learn and grow
- Excellent command of Polish — it is our language of daily communication
Nice to have: - Experience building and maintaining design systems - Familiarity with API testing tools — Postman, Newman - Experience with E2E testing tools such as Cypress or Playwright
